Impact of CPU vulnerability patches on other hardware and so

Hi,


Does anyone think its a good idea to wait things out and buying computers with different parts depending on how things turn out? I think this might have a monetary impact on the components or build we buy since cost is usually tied with performance and certain things such as the ssd with a lower write speed.. Maybe some will opt for a Ryzen or wait until newer, patched chips come out from Intel, AMD, or ARM?

Please help.
